I love all Pontiacs regardless of the Model.  I see alot of us Pontiac lovers pick the 77 ***  But if not for the GTO coming out in 64 with a strong running into the early 70's, that 77 T/A might not have ever been made since the GTO kept Pontiac Division Alive.

I have it narrowed down to the following. In order by date;

1964 GTO - It started the madness!

1964-1966 Tri-Power GTOs. Image and more image.

1969 RA-IV Firebird and GTO. A milestone in performance.

1973 SD-455 Trans Am. A milestone of emissions laden performance of the '70's.

1977 Smokey And The Bandit Trans Am. Continued the madness that the '64 GTO started.

4th-gen LS1 Trans Ams. Wild looks. Fast fast fast!

2005-2006 GTO - The most powerful Pontiac every offered to the public. Best combination of looks, acceleration, handling, luxury, and comfort.

Notable mention: The 1962 SD Swiss-cheese Pontiac Catalina.

Hmmm... It has to be either the GTO or the Firebird/Trans Am.  GTO because it was the car that started it all even though people believe it was the 63 Corvette split window, which really was a two seater sports car, not a muscle car. Firebird/Trans Am because to me, it is the American Icon. Ive seen so many generation Firebirds in so many movies, shows, and commercials, see em more than GTO's on TV(I could be wrong).  Probably most memorable motor would have to be the Pontiac 455, ha finding one now is like trying to find a needle in a haystack!

The very gorgeous, one of a kind, 1976 Grand Prix Golden Anniversary Edition. I'd love to meet/talk to the person who came up with the idea of this special edition car. Then the fact they come with the 455's in them. The color combo, the lines of the car, the big motor, it has comfort and power all in one. Add the Hurst special edition options, and you have yourself a one of a kind car. My personal favorite.  Of course, gotta agree with the Smokey and the Bandit TA, Dad had one of them, and we loved the car.

Also, to 76 GPAE, I emailed you about yours, Hope you get the message, would LOVE to see your car!

thanks,
Terri in IL

Well I'm not sure I could pick just one.Maybe thats why I own four Pontiacs and I'm in the process of buying a fifth. I love them all both old and new. 1969 Firebird coupe 1994 Formula V8 2002 Bonneville 2004 Grand Prix and the next is a 1977 Can Am
