I currently have 2:56 gears in a Pontiac YB code Axle. I would like to change them to 3:23. As I read more sbout the Axle I find that I must change the carrier due to the fact Pontiac made 3 types of carrier's, the 2:56 and 3:23 will not fit in the same carrier. Has anyone done this before? Can you tell me were to begin my search for a carrier/ring and pinion? Thanks for your help.
