Thinking of adding 8-lug wheels to my 1961 Bonnevile convertible.  Are there any aftermarket manufacturers?  I know there is a year cutoff as to what will fit what if I find them used.  Does anyone know the year of the change for the design?

I've been researching the 8-lugs myself for the past 2 months, as i intend to put a set on my '65 Catalina 2+2. It appears that the 60-63 wheels are different in several aspects from the 64-68's. The earlier ears have narrower brake shoes, so the earlier hubs don't fit. Not sure if you can put the later hubs on your '61.
As for reproductions, check out http://www.arrowheadcomponentsinc.com/home.html. They are doing the front hubs only so far. Don't think anyone else has attempted 8-lug repro's. Good luck.
