I am looking for a conversion kit or a way to convert my 63 lemans over to disc brakes. It already has a booster on it but I will need a tandem master cylinder and spindles and rotors. Any ideas??

Hey Dan,
I didn't know the answer, so I checked with a few brake companies. As you probably know already, they make '64 and newer but the '63 is different. So, I checked with a Chevy guy in the office and this was his reponse:
The best thing I can think of, is for this guy to try a disc brake conversion kit for a ’63 Impala/BelAir/Biscayne and see if that’ll work. I think the spindles are the same, but because it’s a Pontiac I’m not totally certain. The easy way to find out would be to look up the original wheel bearings for a ’63 full size Chevy, and see if they’re the same for a ’63 LeMans/Full size Pontiac. If the bearings are the same, then theoretically the disc brake conversion for the Chevy would work on the LeMans.
Hopefully that will help you.
