Gosh, I have wanted one since I was 10 years old. I first fell in love with the car while watching Knight Rider, and later on with Smokey. When I was looking for a car, I had only one in mind, a Trans Am WS6. Well at the time, they were still going for over $20,000 and that was out of my price range. I found a Camaro SS, and I got that instead. I fell in love with the SS hood and spoiler, and the Z28 cars just don't do it for me. I am a Pontiac guy though. I love the goat, and wanted a new LS2 GTO when they came out, but wasn't willing to get rid of the SS for a GTO. I had to seek out other alternatives.

Before the purchase of the Camaro took place, I had bought a Trans Am key chain to hold my LS1 keys, well that didn't come to fruition, and I was unable to use them. I saved the key chain though, telling myself that I would one day own a Trans Am. 4 years later, I was cleaning my desk out and I found the old key chain. It was almost eerie because I was in the process of looking at a 2001 Trans Am. The next day I drove home in it, and I had my Trans Am key chain holding the keys for me. It's not a WS6 but, for the price, color, wheels, and overall combo, I think I can just buy a Ram Air hood when I want.

The car is a Light Pewter Metallic 2001 Trans Am. 37,000 miles and has a mild heads and cam setup. Track times will obviously be soon to follow....I am a drag racing nut!
