im near completion of my 1969 firebird and i did the disc brake conversion on the front brakes my question is will this affect anything with putting aftermarket rims?im looking to put American racing torque thrust 2 M rims on it and im not sure if these will or will not fit.

i wouldnt see any problems with the rims using disks instead of drums. depending on your disk size make sure they are compatible with the size of your rims for clearance issues. most aftermarket brakes will have a reccomendation for rim size. hope that helps

I'm not sure what the 2M is your refer to means. But the torgue thrust D stnds for disc. But these fit the GM drums as well. Depending on what disc brake conversion you used, what size rotor etc will determine the wheel size. The 2M is the key Americans catolog will spell it out.
