For brakes use stock rotors. You will be replacing them after every session. Don't use drilled rotors. They will crack and you will see no true road racer using them. Use stock calipers but put a set of Hawk pads or Carbo tech pads( the best) For the rear convert to a 79 rear disc setup using the good pads. Suspension. I run a Hotchkiss TVS setup. Drops front by 2" and rear by 1.5". Tubular control arms help. A set of 17" rims will work fine. 275/40/17's with the right offset. I would get race only tires. DOT are ok but the extra grip is nice. The DOT can be on your stock rims and with stock brakes, the 15's still fit. The rearend I have a 12 bolt. If I had to do it over I would buy a Strange S-60. 3.55 gears will work with a 5 speed. I would run a Keisler speed setup. They bolt right in. Don't run a auto. If it down shifts around a corner, it will put you into the wall. Happened to my buddy in his 97 Vett at Road America. The engine needs minimun of a road race oil pan. They cost $800 for one that worksn with trap doors. Fuel injection would be nice but a Qwick Fuel Road Race carb would work great. I have tried everybodies carb and Qwick Fuel is the best. Run a baffle in your fuel tank.
