I am restoring a 68 Tempest convertible for a customer. This car does not have the switch that works the top.
And he (the customer) told me that the switch was missing when he got the car. And also that he was told that this switch had to replaced with the original switch. Because of the voltage that ran threw it. Was so much that it would melt any other type of switch.
Now my Q is. If there is now relays on this top harness? And there is not! Why can't I install them? I know I would have to install 2 of them. One for the up and one for going down.
