I'm new to this board and wanted to drop a line and say hello. I drive a 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP with minor bolt-ons and have run a best of 13.93@99.2 mph at the local dragstrip. I post at ClubGP using the same user name.

Soon I'll be picking up a 1974 GTO from my uncle who also has a 1968 GTO, which he bought new in `68. The `68 is already a local show-winner and he 's too busy with that car, so I'm taking the `74 off his hands

The 74 is white with red interior and has all the original decals. The 350 w/4-barrell was recently rebuilt and painted back to its original colors. The interior is so-so, but this is going to be a weekend cruiser. It's an automatic.

The plan is to make 300 to 350-hp with the current rebuilt 350 and keep it looking bone stock under the hood. Same goes for the exterior: no low-hanging traction bars or skinnies up front and slicks in the back, it's going to look stock all the way around.

For license plates, I was thinking GOATMILK (because its white) or ITSAGTO (because most people think it's a Nova ... well, basically, it is, but that's besides the point   )

Currently: 2000 Pontiac GTP
In the works: 1974 Pontiac GTO
