I have a 69 400 block in my 76 Formula, it has a 4spd behind it.

I have a 301T in my 81 Trans Am. It has a turbo 350 auto tranny.

I am going to pull the engine from my 76 to get it painted, will it bolt up to the auto in my 81? I was going to run around with it in my 81 till the Formula gets painted.  

Like it was meant to be there! Simple bolt in using the same side engine brackets as the 76 and the flexplate from the 301. But why go to all the work? You won't want to take it out! Unless you are going to have the 76 laid up for a couple of years, it doesn't make a lot of sense to swap motors twice. Lucky guy to have such a problem!  

I have an 81 tta. I want to put a 231 3.8 turbo in it, do you know of anyone who has done this? thanks, Scott  

Do you mean a Buick GN turbo V6? WOW! That would wake up your TA! For motor mounts you could use the ones for any Firebird from the late 70's to 81 with a 231 and if you use the 200r4 trans from the GN, all you have to do is reposition the trans crossmember, the driveshaft should fit fine. Now as for fuel plumbing, fuel pump, ecm, wiring and turbo plumbing- you are on your own, there are turbo Buick sites that might help. Be sure to get a complete GN, Turbo T-Type or 89 Turbo TA for the swap, I'm sure you will need everything you can scrounge. But it will be cool!
