I would like to submit a tech article request or a least a suggestion for the Magazine to do a conversion. I have a 77 Trans Am with a 464/700R4 combo that I would like to convert to E85 this winter. Unfortunately, no one is talking much about it. There was an article describing the differences but nothing really saying what will need to be done and what will work. For example, besides the jets, what will need to be done to the carb ( I have a Holley 750 DP). Will braided fuel lines be able to handle it, stock fuel lines? What kind of fuel pump is needed? I have a holley mechanical fuel pump and all holley says is that it has never been tested for E85. No help there. So in a nut shell, a conversion of a First or Second Gen Firebird with Pontiac power would be great. Thanks for the help and all the great articles.
