I bought a bell housing that came out of a 73 GTO. I assumed it would fit with my Muncie M-21, and 73 Pontiac 350 set up. I bought a new clutch fork today, and it doesnt fit. I looked close at the bell housing, and saw there are 2 mounting positions for the ball (that the fork pivots on). and of course I bought one with the wrong hole drilled and tapped. Is there some adapter or process i can do to fix this, or do i need to buy another bell housing? Any help is greatly appreciated!

Simple just take it to a machine shop and have it drilled and tapped for the correct mounting hole. Take the trans, bell, fork and release bearing so the machinist can figure out where to centre the mounting hole.
Trying to help... 'cause we don't all have to learn the hard way!
