hello i have a 71 pontiac 350 in my 81 trans am i already put hooker headers with thrush glasspacks bolted to the collectors thats my exhaust, and i got a edlebrock performer intake with edlebrock 650cm carb and when i took my motor apart to fix a collapsed lifter i noticed my cam would need to be replaced in the near future im wondering what camshaft would be best for the motor for a performance upgrade, this car isnt going to be revved past 5000rpm most likely, and what to do with my heads i have 93 octane available so what compression can i go to?? i have 3.73 rear i bought jim hands high performance pontiac book but it doesnt mention 350s my 350 came with 250hp and 380 lbs torque

What heads do you have, lunati .458 cam will work well with that combo but I would recomend a holley carb. over the edelbrock any day the performer depending on the heads or re guardles can be port matched to the heads.
