Hi: I am new to the forum. I am considering buying a Catalina 2+2 convertible, highly optioned, but would like to ask how to determine if it ever had the tricarb option, as the owner tells me it originally had it. The car has lots of options, among them 4 speed gearbox, A/C, AM/FM with reberv, simulated wood steering wheel, 8 lugs, electric windows and seat, etc... most everything I can think of, but I would of course love if it would have the tricarb...
Car's data plate says: 07E 65-25267 233-TOP2 Body 696 ACC C 16 - C60
Can somebody help me in deciphering it?
The car hasn't run for year and the water pump, radiator and fan were lost, but it is in pretty decent shape to restore, having a completely original interior in very good shape, etc.
Thanks, Victor
