Has anyone had any experience with aftermarket cranks from Ohio Crankshafts. I just read the article in this month's HPP and checked out their website. They have 3" main 4.21" stroke nodular crack for $295. I think this is a great deal for a low budget 455 buildup from a 400 block, as opposed to spending huge money on the 4.25" stroker kits that have to use aftermarket rods and special pistons. This crank could be used with stock rods and standard bore 455 pistons to give a true 455 inch motor. The question is, has anyone actually used one? What was the quality like? Did the clearances and radius check out OK? What about balance? Look forward to hearing from any engine builders with any opinions.
