Alright guys im on my last leg here and i need some help if anyone can give it... my transmission took a ever loving complete crap and now im stranded... well thats not it... the advice i need from you guys is concerning a B&M 350 transmission i bought for my car via private party...No returning it... anyways this transmission is sat to hook up to my engine but i have one problem... the ass end up it where the drive shaft hooks up doesnt go out nearly as long as my old one... the teeth however on my drive shaft do very snugly fit onto this transmission... so my questions is there any kind of adapter or extension i can buy for this transmission to use it on my firebird... here are some pictures...

this the back end in which i was refering too... its not long enough for my drive shaft...
heres a side shot of it to kinda help give a better idea

Addacore, I think somebody sold you a race only trans, the pics are kinda small but it looks like a shortened output shaft and it should have a flat plate with a seal on it for the output shaft. You may be able to get a trans shop to install your old output shaft and speedo extension housing into this trans. Otherwise you won't be able to hook up your speedo cable and you'll need a custom length driveshaft. Good luck
