My wife's first car was a really cool "girly car", a 1978 Skybird with a 350. After it was stolen, the '81 Turbo Trans Am she bought was a big disappointment. That baby blue Firebird had so much torque and not one modification. It's all in the combo. Some cars just came from Detroit with more loving care. I think it's 'cause it was purty...prettey....pritty......cute.

Thats pretty much the deal Creep. It's an origional piece so if the numbers matched when i got it they should match when it leaves me.After all I am nothing more than an executor of a one car museum for as long as i own it.That has to be a non-variable.Something has to be as it was for there to be any reference to the past.I'm not getting spooky on this i'm simply stating that this will be a time window into the year 1969 except for whatever i do to get it up on the wheel!!!The 413 thing was just an asside to what is available now.I really intend to do no more than what would have been done to it back in 1969 to get it going. And since the origionality aspect of these cars is now a big thing I was going to keep it as oprigional as possible.car and block sequential numbering is a big thing now so why would I put myself at a disadvantage when considering resale by replacing the motor with a big incher?I really am quite interested in how much you can get out of a steetable 350.I'm really gonna give it a shot just to see where it can go.I have seen 500+ H.P. chevy 350's so why not a 400+ h.p. poncho?I think this is very obtainable in todays performance world.

That Pontiac 350 will kick major ass, just go for it. I never got the same response from a Chevy 350.
