I just bought a 69 custom s convertible.  There is no rust but there is a lot of bondo.  I paint cars for a living and do body work.  After I get the car blasted I will be able to tell better how much was really done to the car 15 years ago after its first restore.  The work isn't pretty but it looks solid from what I can see.  My question is how bad are the aftermarket parts.  I am considering just buying fenders, door shells and hood.  I already picked up an endero nose and grilles.  I am making a gto clone.  I work with after market parts quite a bit and know they aren't perfect but on the newer car they can be made to look very close to perfect with some work.  I don't want to get into more work than the parts that I have now.  Have any of you used the parts place for body panels?  They happen to be 45 min. From my house so I thought I would check them out.  Any advise would be great.
