Hi guys!

Yesterday for $300.00 I bought a 1973 GP SJ 455 that was a "parts car", but it appears to be complete and relatively nice body/glass condition although the some of the interior has seen better days.  I bought it for the value of the 455 4bbl and TH-400 alone.

I've been doing Gen-2 Birds (for info see http://www.originalho.com) and I also just completed a 1963 LeMans 326HO (now RA3 406). I don't have much of an opinion whether it would be worth restoring the 73 GP SJ or parting it out.

What do you guys think?

(reply to myself)

So nobody has an opinion as to whether a 1973 GP SJ 455 is worth saving? Hey, opinions are free!

I'm kinda surprised at that.

No responses == part it out!

Ok, I'll bite! The obvious question is what will it cost to restore it and what is the typical resale value of a similar car when finished? Do you want a cool driver that you can keep? or do you want to restore it and turn a fast buck? If you want a nice driver, by all means restore it to a level you are happy with and rock on. But don't expect to get rich off selling a 1973 anything!
Except maybe a Super Duty!
