Oh boy, just read the HPP article on the 62 Super Duty that was the subject of the May 62 Motor Trend road test. That article, in conjunction with my first car, a used 62 Yorktown Blue Bonnevile, really endeared me to Pontiacs. I remember reading that article in 1973 in a library. One thing that sticks in my mind to this day was the statement in the MT text that the 421 was bored .030 from the factory, effectively making it a 428! In the new HPP article, mention is made that the motor was rebuilt prior because it was bored .030; unless I'm thinking of a different article, I think it came that way from the factory or maybe the bobcat boys were upto something? Great to see the car survived! MarkS
