Hello every body...im new to this forum and i need some help and advice..im trying to install a 75 455 into a 62Pontiac parisienne, and the engine mounts that i have wont work.It seems i need frame mounts from a 59 to 64 boneville, grand prix or catalina that had a 389 engine. The rubber parts are available new, but i still need the part that bolts to the frame. would anybody know where i can find these parts or does some1 sell a conversion kit? Any help and advice would be appreciated...Cruzn..almost

Hi all...to answer my own question...I did get a set of frame mounts from a 62 catalina, which had to be cut off a donor car, since they are welded to the frame. A special thanks to East-West auto parts out of tulsa ok.Now since my parisienne is a canandian built pontiac with a chevy X frame. There still had to be some minor mods done.I used stock motor mounts from a 62 Cat., which were available from Rock auto.We also had to fabricate a transmision cross-member,lengthen the driveshaft and use a special u-joint,It wasnt an easy swap!!!Now all that has to be done is to join up the exhaust with 2 small pieces of pipe that im gonna get done at a muffler shop.I hope this information will help some one in the future. Now my 62 Parisienne is all Pontiac......Cruzn..
