THis is my first muscle car:

I have read alot of articles on this, and i know i should take the battery out and keep it warm. I am also going to put fuel stabilizer in the tank. Should i change the oil before and after winter? Should i start the engine every other week or something and let it heat up?

What recommendations do you guys have for me as far as storage i live in indiana and will store prob for 3 months. It is in a garage.

Jon, I usually change the oil, fill the tank, add the stabilizer and jack up the car and put it on stands and cover it with old cotton bedsheets. The cotton sheets are cheap and breatheable. Removing the battery is a good idea if the garage gets really cold, also an occasional trickle charge once or twice a winter or a battery tender to keep it in good state. You don't need to re-change the oil in the spring, just make sure you run the engine up to operating temp and drive it long enough to get any condensation out in the spring, changing new oil is just wasteful. I usually end up doing some work on my car over the winter so I usually move it once or twice and let it warm up fully before shutting it off. My Bird usually ends up stored from mid October until late April/early May.
