Guys - My son and I are finishing assembly of a '76 Pontiac 400 for his '79 Trans Am (replacing a missing 403) How far do I drive the Dipstick block tube into the block? I bought the stainless tube from Ames Performance and there are no instructions. Should it be tapped-in until it's flush, or left partially out a predetermined distance? Can't find reference to this in my service manual... Thanks!
