How hard is it to find every part needed to do a resto on a 79 ***
like taillights which i need, and all the chrome trim

I guess it depends on how good a scrounger you are?I have a 79' TA with a stock appearance and a highly modified 455 that I run 12.80's@104 mph at the track with.I still cruise it and look for parts everywhere I go. I have been looking for rear taillamp assemblys for a long time as well. I ended up tapeing off the red lens and respraying the Black fins. A few companies out there make some of the parts(i.e. Year one,classic industries,ect..)but alot of these parts bare spendy and some are not re-popped yet. I have been working on mine for over 20 years. Good luck and let us know if you find the taillamps.

I have about 3 sets of 79 taillights I would be interested in selling if you are interested. I can get pics if you want.
