65 Catalina 389 Headers

I'm looking to install headers on my 65 Catalina. I have a 389 with powers steering and power brakes, no air conditioning.
The only headers I have found listed specific to the car are Doug headers at over $600/pair. I only paid $1200 for the car, so you can see that $600 is a little much, plus with today's economy, I'm on a budget as most others are.
Sumit Racing says they think that headers for 64 GTO/Lemans may work, but aren't 100% sure.
Any ideas?
Thanks, Chris

Those headers from summit will not fit unless you relocate 2 of the drivers side front tubes, which is what i had to do. they will not clear the starter. i took a set of sbc headers and cut 2 of the tubes out and rewelded the front two tubes to clear the starter and they work but they fit very very tight and the motor has to be unbolted and come up about 3 inches to go on.

If it is a stock to mild engine you will not see a big difference with a set of headers and may not be worth the trouble that money could be spent on other upgrades.
