I just received the brochure for the new 2009 G8 Firehawk that will be available for order the first of April.  When I read it, I thought, wow, this is going to be a monster.  

Since this is my first post, I don't want it to turn into a commercial, but I have to share a few features.  First, they are using the TVS 1900 'charger from the new ZR-1 Corvette, running 7 pounds of boost and making 500 hp @6024 rpm and 489 lb-ft of torque at 4340 rpm.  Second, you can get 14" 2-piece slotted and drilled rotors and 6-piston calipers front and rear as an option.  It shaved 10 ft. from the 60-0 braking time. And, third, it's 50-state legal and covered under a 3/36 warranty.

SLP is only going to produce 250 at their Toms River facility in New Jersey.
