Looking for the best deal on a radiator for 1967 Le Mans w/ac. Everywhere I looked was in the $400 range. Just wondering if anybody knew of a better deal?

Check on ebay, or Ames Performance has 4-core Desert Cooler rads for about $320 plus shipping. You don't want to scrimp - Pontiac engines tend to run hot, or so I've heard. My non-AC 67 Goat has a 4-core and with a 160 degree thermostat I've never seen the temp go above 180. You might be able to get by with a smaller rad if you put a fan shroud on it.

I was in the same boat on my 69 GTO with AC and automatic trans. The prices online for a replacement 4 core radiator was also around $400. I ended up open the yellow pages for radiator repair shops in my area. I contacted a few and took my old radiator in to one shop. They were able to get a replacement 4 core heavy duty radiator with the same connections and pugs for about $200. The radiator comes with a lifetime warranty on defects. I’m guessing that with the availability of cheap replacement radiators for modern cars that these radiator repair shops aren’t as busy as they were years back. However, if there are radiator specific shops still open in your area I’m sure they will be a good recourse and they are only a phone call away.
Good Luck, Steve

Local shops wanted $350 to recore. Performance Years is carrying a new line of alum. radiators that is not yet in their catalog. Got one on the way. 4 core for auto. w/ac was $359.
