I have my 350 built up, and I kinda went backwards, I now have a Holly carb on it, and a nice cam from comp, and a performer intake, the engine looks great, all shiny and clean, and runs great. Now I just put it back into my car, but I have a few questions. My old harness was bad, I really took off all the extra stuff that was inside the engine bay, all i really have now is the battery, engine, and the master cylinder, plus the radiator and all that stuff. Now, I bought a new electric fuel pump so I can get the psi down for the carb, but should I just pull the stock one out or connect the electric one in line like i have read on some other sites people did. And this might sound crazy, but how do I do all the wiring from the battery to the starter and the ignition and the alternator? Do they make a harness for that or is it something that i will need to buy just a few wires for? If you could again please guide me in the right way it would help. By the way, the ecm and all that other wiring is gone now cause my father in law said that he was surprised that I didn't have a short or start a fire with the old harness i had, but now since its all carb, well, there ya go. My HEI distributor is the GM Performance parts one by the way, I don't have the part number right here but i got it from GMPP website. Hopefully you might be able to have an answer for me again! thank-you!
