Putting together a 30 over 455 for the street, H beam Rods, ported heads, nothing too radical. Can someone tell me the pros and cons of cast or moly rings? Many thanks, Mark

Cast rings are for stock engines and seem to ware faster and moly coated rings are for highperformance engines.
You need to know what grit hone was used because the moly rings require a finer grit honed surface then cast rings to seat properly.
