I have a 1969 GTO Hardtop. I put the body back on the chassis this past weekend. I’m using new body bushings and hardware but, I’m not sure what the torque spec is for these bolts. I believe they are 40 ft/lbs. Does anyone know what they should be torqued to?
Thanks for the help Steve

I think but not a 100% sure that they should be torqued to 60ftlbs.

I believe you are correct. I've done a bit more research on it and believe that 40 ft/lbs is for something else. 60 ft/lbs is for GTO, Lemans/Tempest, and Grand Prix. And 80-85 ft/lbs is for Firebirds.
Thanks again for the help. I think you've confirmed what I've come across.
