Passion is the key. I have written many a letter to Pontiac and here on HPP, and never got out exactly what I am thinking. If you do have that passion, you find yourself getting worked up just writting about it. You don't know what direction to go with your words. Too much to say to just type it out. Base line. My Grandpa started our family tradition with his 1929 Pontiac and it has continued through my dad, his brothers, me, and my brothers. That is what GM fails to see. Pontiac is a family tradition to many. I am 30 and have owned 1974 Catalina, 1981 Trans AM, 1982 Grand Prix, 1996 Grand Am, 2004 Grand AM GT. I currently own 1964 Catalina, 1970 Tempest, 1992 Bonneville, 2007 Vibe and my 1980 LeMans. Again, I am only 30 and these are my cars. You tell me another car company that you have freaks like me. My 3 year old daughter can pick a Pontiac out of any crowd. When I first heard about Pontiac being dumped, I lost sleep. As rediculous as that sounds, I found myself angry, depressed, and lost. I still dont know what I am going to do for my next car. This is what passion is about. Its not just a car, it is without a doubt a life style.

tinndn your not the only that had such feelings or thought of Pontiac as a life style. Many of us do. I too found myself depressed and VERY angry. But as Pontiac people we can not feed off of those emotions. Because if we act off of them toward GM we will ultimately receive a "deaf" ear. As for where to turn. Chevy I would have to say is the closest thing to our Pontiacs. If you want product that has "familar" content and function stick with something from GM. Because if GM cant turn this around and sell GM products there will be NO GM IN THE FUTURE.
