I was wondering if anybody knew if you could swap a front end off of a 71 formula to a 76 formula without switching hoods. I like the positioning of the scoops on my hood but I like the front end on the 71. If I cant swap without changing hoods then ill just stick with the 76. Thanks for any help.

You are in luck- any hood from 70-76, flat, Formula, or T/A are interchangeable. The 71 nose has the edge contours that match your hood and should bolt on and look like it was stock.

You will have to use the earlier rad support and mounts as well. Other than that the entire nose will bolt right on. Steve
Trying to help... 'cause we don't all have to learn the hard way!

Just for your info. I put a 79 bumper, plastic nose and hood on my 73 without any issues.

Awesome thanks for the info...one thing I forgot to ask though, do I need to switch out the fenders as well or will they work with the 71 front end also? Thanks
