I have installed a SSBC front disc kit on my 69 GTO and need to locate an adapter to mate the old rear axle line to the new proportion vale. The fitting needs to be 3/16 male by 9/16 (wrench size)female. Any help is appreciated. I have tried all chainstores in my area without luck .

                                             Thanks

It is a simple brass fitting adapter from 3/16" inverted flare male to 1/4" or inverted flare female. Most automotive parts suppliers will not have this in their selection. Go to your local industrial supplier that does fleet such as Grainger, or a repair shop for semi trucks, or a semi truck dealership such as Peterbuilt / Mack. SSBC should also sell them, even Summit. My SSBC porp valve came with a set of brass adapters, and I have had to buy them for other customers project cars.

http://www.greggdistributors.ca/catalogue.htm.  is where I buy them in Canada. The top right corner is what you need.
