I have installed a 1975 pontiac 400 in my 68. But their is something wierd about the way it sits. It seems to be tilted up and off to the left if you are looking at it from the front. The fan sets 1 to 2 inchs above the raditor. Do i need different motor mounts for this to sit right or is this normal? I am using the original motor mounts that came with the 68 i believe. I bought this with no motor in it. Any help would be appreciated.

Something is not right. I  have a 68 with a 78 motor and all sits correctly. I think i read somewhere that pontiac changed motor mounts or holes in the early 70s. Hope this helps.
