I hit a golf course fence with my 1978 (don't ask) and damaged the left side of my nose right by the bumper jack this split the nose there about 3 inches I used a sandable epoxy to repair it that was about 12 years ago it is still holding no cracks ect I had to use a DA sander to get down to the rubber. It was a two part process. you can't see it here Anyway if you search this board for Endura Nose Help seems like the same kind of issue. hope that helped
My 1978 T/A the only thing that I ever loved that didn't leave me stranded (Yet)

There is a product made for urethane called Fusor which is a single stage goo in a tube which hardens and is sandable which works very well on plastic. It is red in color. The trick is painting it with basecoat clearcoat. You have to prime with flex additive, paint the base coat without flex additive and when you clear it you need flex additive. And always stick to one brand of paint such as Dupont,Ditzler or whatever for the primer, basecoat and clearcoat.
