I have a 79 T/A with an olds 400 big block in it. Currently i am running the hood without the scoop on it because the scoop does not allow the motor to breath. Im looking for either a cowl hood or any ideas anyone has on how to fix this, because the air cleaner sticking out of the hood is alright looking, but i would like it all enclosed. Feel free to give me opinions or information on things i could do or where i should look for parts. So far i havent been able to even find a company that makes cowl hoods for these cars.

Try blockersperformance.com or call them @501-796-2556.They were able to set me up with a kit that turned my shaker functional and allowed me to use a performer RPM intake.They probably make one for the olds motor also.
