Have had the ole' 66 GTO 389/auto for many moons. Tricked the motor a little, replaced tranny but, need to upgrade the braking system, legs getting too old to stand on pedal now adays!  Any and all information for this replacement would be greatly appreciated.  Also, what parts or kits would you advise purchasing.
Wondering the same for my 67 Post auto w/455. Open for suggestions.

Many places sell a kit to convert your car to front power disc brakes. Probably the most affordable one is from Summit Racing. Check their ads or website, if it is listed as fitting a 64-72 Chevelle, it will fit your GTO's. They have a kit that comes with everything but the steel lines.

A car interchange manual.www.angelfire.com/tx/lonestarclassics/abodyinterchange.It will give you a couple options including ball joint and tie rod ends to use.
