Hi, a couple years ago I purchased a rear wing for my 69' firebird. It is the trans am style with wrap down ends over the rear quarters. Now that I'm ready to install it I have realized I lost the pair of pedestals that hold wing up off trunk. None of the aftermarket suppliers can help me get these peices so I'm putting out the word... Can someone pleeeease help me. I would like to either buy a pair,(I'm willing to fix some if theyre rough), or maybe somene would be willing to loan me one(I'd be glad to pay for the use) so I can make a mold to duplicate the proper piece for this style wing. Worst case senario will be I just make up a set as well as I can. Thanks to all, Darren.

Waynep7122- Nice site but no help. I'm coming to the conclusion that I am going to make a set from scratch. My plan is to create the ped's from balsa wood to start(easy shaping), and use these for making a mold. I will then use the mold to pour fiberglass into. Once I get the blocks in fiberglass I can drill & epoxy the bolts into them. This should work. Any mold making advice will be very helpful-Thanks, Darren. (If any one else needs a pair here's your chance to get some-let me know be cause there aren't any available that I know of) Darren.

I made a pair with great results. I can make more. Email cargoclassics@msn.com if interested in a pair(1969 T.A wing pedestals). Thanks Darren.
