i need to replace my cam bearings, but i don't know if i can buy just a camshaft plug for the rear of the engine. does anybody sell the rear camshaft plug alone?
if i can't buy one, i'm just going to use the bearing that is already in front of the plug, it doesn't have any scoring or anything, i just wanted to replace them all at the same time.

Ya you should be able to get one from the machine shop that changes the bearings.

Another point is that you really can't replace them all except the back one, at least with the installation tools I've seen and used, because they all extend through the rear cam bearing hole to center the tool. You can't install them without a proper tool because they won't be straight in their bores and the cam will bind. Steve
A little help... 'cause we don't all have to learn the hard way!
