I have a 65 matching numbers gto the motor is stock with about 8000 miles on a rebuild it has a demon carb, edelbrock intake , hooker super comp headers, and flowmaster mufflers. The transmission is a stock powerglide with the same number of miles on it, since they are both matching numbers I don't want to change a whole lot I just want to give it a badass idle and i'm not sure what duration and what degree lobe cam would work best. I am also thinking of changing out the ring and pinion gear I think it has a 2.56 now and am thinking of about a 3.42, any input would really help

No that is not the code I was needing if the heads are original they should be a 75,76,77 or at least the last to digits should be.

I would go with the lunati 07701 it has a .477 lift and a noticeable idle I would not go bigger than this.
