Question, my convertible is going in for a paint job soon.  Going to keep it Regimental Red.  They are painting the engine and all.  Going to get the Tin Indian Valve covers.  It came with the chrome package under the hood new but want them valve covers!  It has the 428HO 4speed.  Want it all ready for the Pontiac Nationals next year.  The people painting it said they will repaint the engine and all.  I had a brain tumor and it sat for 5 years so it kind of got rusty again.  Thinking about taking it off the frame.  Has anyone ever taken one of them boats off the frame before?  What does it entail?  I am healed and ready to rock and want the car ready too!! My next MRI is next year, I feel it will be a good one and want my car to be all ready to celebrate!!! YEAH!!!

Thanks for any input.
