I need an opinion on something. I am new to the whole "muscle car" world. I recently purchased a 2005 GTO. I live down in Texas where the temp has been over 100 almost every day over the last couple months. Is it possible for the breaks/rotars to make a chirping noise due to high temps? If so, is this a bad thing? I took the car to the pontiac dealer, and after they completely looked over my entire car they found nothing. So, I wondered if this might be the case due to certain parts expanding in the heat. If this is the case, is there something I should/can do to prevent this noise? If anyone has any advice or information they can give me on this, I would really appreciate it.
