The SD455 block was an SD only casting for sure, not certain if it was made of higher nickel content iron or not. The rods were forged pieces instead of the cast Armasteel rods that other Pontiacs received. Yes the Q-Jet was a special SD piece as well. In stock trim 1/4 mile times ranged in the 13's to low 14's depending on options, which would put them right around the low-100mph range at the end of the 1/4.
