Where is everyone - is it too many Halloween treats or has everyone got swine flu - no one has any questions/problems? - therefore its fun time (which one of these items listed were not an option for 1967 GTO) - 1. Stereo 8 Track Tape Player - 2. Verbra Rear Speakers - 3. Hood Pins - 4. Front Wheel Disk Breaks - 5. Deleted Pin Stripes - wow that was tough - however, everyone of them were available on the 67 GTO - now maybe someone will post something
have a good day Kenneth

How about this: What are the advantages and disadvantages of a progressive dual quad set up (Edelbrock P65 and 2 Edelebrock 500 carbs), a 65 Tri power, and a standard iorn manifold and a quadrajet on a Pontiac 400. The motor follows one of the recipies in the back of Jim Hands book, the cam is a RAIV installed with no advance or retard with Rhoads Lifters, 1.5 rockers, the timing gear is a double roller, the block is a .040 over 70 model, and the heads are mildly ported #13's. The pistons are forged with 7cc reliefs, and headers to 3 inch exhaust.

good one - the dual quad set up and the Tri Power set up have the initial advantage of its larger CFM capacity - however, the 67-73 QJ set up was better and feed the eight cylinders more uniformly - therefore, it was better - the 67-73 cast iron 180 degree high rise manifold is superior to most after market units and has well-blanced runners which have fairly uniform cross sections - better yet - get a 71-72 455 HO or 69-70 RA IV aluminum high rise manifold (one QJ)

If the dual quad and the tri power have the advantage in flowing more cfm, then in theory they would in, say a drag race situation feed the engine as much air\fuel as it wants or needs versus the single quadrajet being a limiting factor at WOT not flowing enough cfm. Am I on the right track or am I missing it in some way?
