I am geting ready to change out the body bushing to my 69 GTO convertible. They are worn out. I plan on doing it one side at a time. I was wondering if anyone out there has done it this way and is there anything I should be carefull of. or ploblems to look out for. Thank

only changed the body bushings on two 67 GTO's - always lifted the whole body up and changed both sides - however. if you loosen one side and then change out the other side you should not have any big problems - then reverse the process - except watch your fingers

One bit of advice I can give is if you do one side at a time, be sure to loosen BOTH mounts at the rad support area first. When I did my Firebird, I did the driver's side first and it pulled by left front fender out of alignment and I had to realign it. Steve
Trying to help... 'cause we don't all have to learn the hard way!

I did the mounts one at a time and one side at a time on my Firebird. The engine was out at the time and the sub frame was supported at four points. It was pretty easy to do ...
