INTAKE GASKET REPLACEMENT ???

Good day everybody. Need to know,I have an aluminum 455 H/O intake on my 400 which is a 1978 year.Now the exhaust cross over on the aluminum intake is a seperate unit,not molded to the intake.I want to put the crossover on my motor but of course the one side of the exhaust crossover has  bigger opening, meaning the gaskets I ordered for '78 won't work.Do i need to order the gasket from the year this intake came from? I believe it's from a '72-'73 455 H/O.
