camshaft id

Hello fellow Pontiac owners. I am new here and thought i would join the group. i recently bought a 400 engine from someone and got a bunch of Pontiac engine parts with it. one of the items was a new camshaft. it is a speed pro cs-199r. is this a Pontiac camshaft. i have searched on the internet and did not find much info on this camshaft. on an engine rebuild site it does list this camshaft as a Pontiac camshaft either for a 455 or a 400. if it is a Pontiac camshaft then is it a good camshaft or is it a wild camshaft. any info from you guys would be appreciated. if you have any pics of a Pontiac camshaft could you please post it here. thank you.  

come on guys. 76 views and no one is offering their info or opinion. I would like someone to please help me with this. That's all I'm asking. That is the reason I joined this forum is to get useful info about my pontiac trans am.  

There isn't any specs that I could fined on that cam but if you post a picture I will be able to tell you if it is a pontiac cam.

I found it on a site for "rebuilt crate engines" and they were using it in a Pontiac 455 Super Duty (300 - 500 lift).  I didn't look at the other 144 hits.  You might also call or send a message to Speed-Pro.

Note: it is not uncommon to have hundreds of "views" without a single post.  I read a lot of them but only post when I have something relevant to say.
