perhaps... you are not familiar with the THOUSANDS of options ..
from engine work..
internal transmission stuff like converter stall speed changes, final drive gear ratio changes, drive chain and sprocket ratio changes... along with lots of internal transmission upgrades to keep it from blowing up with all the power you are going to put through it..
you may also need to upgrade the CV shafts and hub bearing assemblys to match... they come on V6 cars...
there has been an increase in circle track racing with front wheel drives... so you might find some more stuff to beef up your car ....
there are also supercharged direct port injected motors available now from GM.. that will bolt in.. or are very close to bolting in.. the electronics come with them...
the second half of part 3 of this gm performance manual shows how to build a performance version...
http://www.gmperformancedivision.com/pulse/manuals.aspx
parts one, two and three show how to properly remove and install these front wheel drive motors properly.. and should be downloaded and saved... as we all know.. information does not last long ... it detailed and has pictures with complete descriptions..
there are also completely different drivetrains that you might be able to bolt in.... possibly one of the 300+ HP northstar units from a cad... with the big plastic cover that covers these motors.. you might be able to hide the identity of what you have if you have to pop the hood..
