need help with milodon oil pan

hi my 79 trans am has a milodon oil pan owner says its a 6 quart pan.so I went to there site and could not find a 6 qt oil pan the back of the oil pan from the bottom of the pan to the bottom of the engone is 7 inches can anyways tell me how many qts this pan uses?cant just use the dip stick as its a after market dip stick and tube which was made for a 5 qt pan so I wasint sure if it would give me a accurant reading thanks

found oil pan number m30770 found at summit racing parts it says its a stock replacement 4 qt but i take it it with the filter and all it would be 5 qts??
