I am trying to select a new carb for my new engine. Running a Holley 700 DP now. Its old and might be to small now. Its a 66 GTO, 400, 60 over, around 9.2:1,ported heads should be flowing 240 on the intake, Comp Cam XE274, 274 286  duration .488 .491 lift , performer RPM intake, 4 speed Muncie with 355s in the rear for now.I am thinking about a Holley 800 DP or vac secondary. Its hard I know without testing but Im interested in educated opinions. Thanks in advance!

A 750CFM Holley carburetor will be fine for your set up.

Go with the HP series Holley. They are more responsive.
